Central Bank of Comoros

A long process led to the creation of the Central Bank of the Comoros, closely linked to the historical evolution of the colonial administration and the Franc Zone. On 16 November 1950 , the Bank of Madagascar and the Comoros was transformed into a semi-public institution responsible for the issue of legal tender notes in Madagascar and Comoros.
