Twiplomacy

“Twiplomacy” is a study of the use of Twitter by world leaders, conducted by leading global public relations and communications firm Burson-Marsteller. Burson-Marsteller identified Twitter accounts of 505 heads of state and government, foreign ministers and their institutions in 153 countries worldwide. Burson-Marsteller expanded the breadth of the Twiplomacy study in 2013 with 315 new accounts, including 148 accounts of heads of state and government and 167 accounts of Foreign Ministers and Foreign Ministries.
