X sector A new source concerning employees of the municipality sector has been used for the results of the first quarter 2008. Previously the number of employees for the municipality sector has been presented according to the short term business statistics, salaries for municipalities. Now information is presented according to the short term employment statistics. This results in a downward shift of levels compared to previously reported information, implying that the number of employees in the municipality sector is roughly 30 000 less compared to the previous source. The difference is mainly because the short term business statistics, salaries for municipalities includes all those who have received salaries during the month, while the short term employment statistics only measure the number of persons who were employed on a specific day. sector A new source concerning employees of the municipality sector has been used for the results of the first quarter 2008.
