The Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System is a Decentralized Administrative Body of the Ministry of the Interior, which has technical, management and budgetary autonomy, whose purpose is to execute and follow up on the agreements of the National Public Security Council, instance coordination and definition of public policies on public security; It is therefore the operational organ, the axis of coordination between federal, state and municipal bodies responsible for safeguarding the integrity of people, public safety, and preserving public order and peace.
